Tuxedo FAQ
Everything you need to know about
RENTAL tuxedos...
Q: What is the tuxedo made out off?
A:  100% Worsted Wool, unless White or Ivory (Polyester)

Q: What makes an outfit a tuxedo?
A:  Satin lapels and Satin stripe on pants are a couple examples

Q: Will my rental tuxedo have a fitted look?
A: Rental tuxedos unfortunately have more of a box fit, so they are fitted primarily by
th
e largest part of the body.

Q: If its not fitted what alterations do you do?
A: Pant length and coat sleeve length

Q: When should I order my tuxedo for a wedding or event?
A: 3-6 months in advance, or ASAP if event is sooner

Q: Do vest colors match bridal colors?
A: No, the only way a fabric can match another is if they come  from the same bolt of
material or made by the same  manufacture. Vest will
COMPLIMENT the other colors.

Q: What is a good age for a ring bearer?
A:  Generally you want the ring bearer to be older than the  flower girl, so he can
walk her down the isle without help. Usually 7-10 years old is a best practice.

Q:  What is a classic tuxedo?
A:  Classic tuxedos are one button, peak lapel tuxedos with black cummerbund and
bow tie.
However today these are rarely  used.

Q: What is the most popular style / widely used style?
A:  2 button notch lapel, with a appropriate vest color and matching long tie.

Q: How many / who should wear tuxedos for my wedding?
A: This is a personal preference, however most weddings have:
Best Man, 1-3 groomsmen (that work as ushers too), ring bearer (or other title), 2
fathers (or other). 6 plus on average.
